Look for materials that weren’t treated with
flame-retardants and are free of plastics, coloring and fragrances. Dog's
shampoo will be absorbed into their skin or licked off and the rest will be
rinsed down the drain, where it will eventually wind up in waterways. As with
any product read labels carefully. It's easy to slap the word “natural” but
that doesn't prove what's inside. You might want to check your dog’s health
while grooming him/her. Any cuts or bruises? Fleas? Is the coat too dry or too
greasy? Special odors? Gum irritation? Check out a good article on dog wellness
inside Bark Magazine.
I'm not sure I'm going to check, thanks.
