Today's article
I am sure that most of you, dog lovers, will agree with me that this is not a good idea - with all respect to Asian cultures that do so. Today's NY Times article talks about the idea to breed dogs without interference to create a sustainable, local meat supply with low energy inputs and feed regions with starving people. They even quote the novelist Foer, who said that dogs are no smarter than swine!! This reminded me of one of my favorite Tarantino's films dialogues in which Samuel Jackson and Travolta talk about how dogs shouldn't be eaten and that DOGS HAVE PERSONALITY (which we all agree). Maybe you won't like the article, but I hope you enjoy watching this Pulp Fiction's dialogue again.
